How to style a wide-leg jumpsuit
Jumpsuit: Old Navy (Size XL) | Demin Jacket: Target (Size Medium, it’s very oversized, I sized down) | Pleather Jacket: Target (Similar) | Shoes: Toms (TTS) and Pointed Mules (TTS) | Undergarments: Spanx Capri Tights (XL, I sized up) | Face: Bare
With fall approaching, I’ve been keeping my eye on transition pieces that can be worn for fun or the office and once I saw this jumpsuit in one of my favorite all time colors, I knew I had to have it. As a tall-ish (5’7″) curvy girl and I have really struggled to find a jumpuit that fit my body well that wasn’t tight in unwanted areas and this one fit me really well! I am typically a large but in this, the large was too tight and the XL (which I ended up getting) was a little slouchy, but I think it works. It’s a great height for me and is a nice material that doesn’t wrinkle easily (bonus!).
I chose to wear this jumpsuit two ways; one with a pair of Tom’s Wedged Mules and an oversized denim jacket from Target, another with a Pleather jacket from Old Navy (that i’ve had since 2013, I linked a similar one here) and pointed flat slides from Walmart. I don’t always wear shapeware under my clothing, but I felt more comfortable with it on so I ended up wearing crop length Spanx tights, that I also got from Target.
There are so many ways you can style this jumpsuit – You can go with no jacket at all and throw on a pair of sandals, or throw on a longer sand colored cardigan, you could even throw a belt on over it to sinch in the waist a little.
The key is to have fun and feel comfortable, as in anything I ever wear, I just want to feel comfortable and feel like ME!
Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to be kind to others, it’s important!
